The greatest Asian action ace of the modern era is Jackie Chan, and Reel East are proud to present genuine movie memorabilia from Jackie’s stunt-packed classics.
After Jackie Chan gained superstardom with his films ‘Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow’ and ‘Drunken Master’, he signed with Golden Harvest, the house that Bruce Lee built.
After a couple more kung fu comedies, ‘The Young Master’ and ‘Dragon Lord’, Chan shifted gears, and centuries, to make the piratical swashbuckler ‘Project A’. Jackie Chan retained the directing chair, but now shared the screen with his former Chinese Opera school brothers Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao. This was the first film to bring this titanic trio together, a formula that would prove a sure winner at the Hong Kong box office.
The film was shot at Golden Harvest studios, and various Hong Kong locations on land and sea. It combined the expected martial artistry with a new brand of physical comedy, including an innovative bicycle chase and Chan’s justly famous fall from a clocktower.
