Maverick Hong Kong director Tsui Hark takes the reins from John Woo for the third installment of the ‘Better Tomorrow’ series. Chow Yun-fat returns to his breakthrough role of Mark Gor in a prequel that reveals the back story of this Heroic Bloodshed icon. The backdrop is the Vietnam war, and the supporting cast includes Hong Kong diva Anita Mui, ‘The Lover’ star Tony Leung Kar-fai and Mr.Han himself, Shek Kin.
Tsui Hark, who was born in Indochine, returns to Vietnam for one of the first Hong Kong productions to film in that country.
