Shaw Brothers legend Lau Kar-leung takes a walk on the wild side in this supernatural action flick from Cinema City. Lau Sifu takes a step into the world of ‘Spooky Encounters’ and ‘Mr. Vampire’, playing a bow-wielding ghostbuster. He is paired with then newcomer Mark Cheng, a new face signed to Cinema City. ‘Evil Cat’ is packed with 80s Hong Kong cinema excess, including horror, wacky physical and visual effects and a few beats of Lau Kar-leung’s trademark kung fu fighting.
