Reel East’s The Sammo Hung Collection celebrates the work of China’s Orson Welles of action. This triple threat actor, director and choreographer has spent most of his career revolutionising Hong Kong action cinema. Reel East is proud to present original memorabilia from some of Sammo’s milestone movies.

‘First Mission’ is Sammo’s version of ‘Rain Man’, in which he cast himself as a mentally challenged man, and Jackie Chan as the brother forced to care for him. When Hung’s character stumbles into a jewel robbery, Jackie’s, a tough police officer, is forced to ask his comrades to help rescue his sibling.

The film allows both men, and supporting actor Mung Hoi, a chance to show their acting range, and the action scenes give a rare chance for action star Yuen Biao to show off his choreographic skills behind the camera.
