Reel East’s The Sammo Hung Collection celebrates the work of China’s Orson Welles of action. This triple threat actor, director and choreographer has spent most of his career revolutionising Hong Kong action cinema. Reel East is proud to present original memorabilia from some of Sammo’s milestone movies.

‘Winners and Sinners’ saw Sammo combine slapstick comedy and slambang martial arts action into a winning box office combination. Hong Kong audiences eagerly awaited further installments in the franchise, that teamed Sammo with fellow Golden Harvest martial arts stars Jackie Chan and Yuen Biao, as well as a line-up of popular Hong Kong comedians.

For ‘Twinkle, Twinkle Lucky Stars’, the wacky gang of misfits are sent on a mission to Thailand. Things kick off early in the piece with a mass throwdown where cops played by Jackie Chan, Yuen Biao and newcomer Andy Lau take on a boatful of thugs. As ever, Sammo counter balances wacky slapstick comedy with slambang martial arts fights.
