In the wake of Bruce Lee’s passing, the Golden Harvest studios launched the careers of a number of other young Chinese leading men. And among them was Lee’s brother, Robert, who made the film ‘The Lady Killer’ for the studio. The younger Lee sibling had been a Hong Kong singing star, and so the film focusses on his musical rather than martial skills. Regardless, Robert gets a couple of action scenes in this sexy caper comedy, and is surrounded by many of the actors who had worked with his brother on Bruce’s Golden Harvest movies.
